Is the internet responsible for more people losing faith?

i mean, atheists have always been since decades, but now the percentage in every country has increased, especially among teenagers in much of europe... do you think its because of more exposure to the internet ??.. and realizing how stupid ur own beliefs sound ? including R&S. yes. i know many people who turned atheist by visiting this section regularly... skepticism is amazing.
