Am I wrong for saying this to my grandmother?

So for a 14 year old I act like a 21 year old. I would never make bad or stupid decisions. So one day I sat down with my grandmother and asked her about her life and her family. to make a long story short her family were out of control for instance they all got pregnant and a young age they were wild and didn't make the best decisions. So I confront my grandma by calling her family stupid because of the way they all acted and I kep saying that I would never make decisions like you guys. So of course she got offended and started to yell at me and call me crazy! People only do that when there offended and they know the truth my family should be ashamed and I'm embarred to be related to them but I Love grandma <3
