I was charged with petty theft, paid the restitution immediatley...?

and sent an apology along with the payment. The company [Beall's], sent me a letter saying they had received my payment and they would not pursue any further civil liabilities. What does this mean? I have a mandatory court date, does this mean that the charges are dismissed? any help would be wonderful! thanks!
