Shouldn't airlines be required to provide pengers with water free of charge?
Because of the liquid ban people are no longer permitted to bring water into the terminal (although water fountains are present in some cases), but in some settings (e.g. with security at the gate), the only opportunity to receive water is on board. Some airlines no longer give complementary water. If you could bring your own water, I would not have a problem, but, now that you can't and because water is so necessary for survival (well you can go without it for the flight, but forcing dehydration on people is always a bad idea). I feel that at least drinking water should be available to pengers, for free, either at the gate to bring on board or on board, and no unreasonably low limits on water consumed should be enacted. This is my view (it is getting rediculous!) What do you think?
