Moving to Gillette, Wyoming area?

Gillette is in the open plains area of northern Wyoming. Less than 100mi from Devils Tower National Monument on the east and about 100mi from the Big Horn mountains on the west. It is smaller than Belleville, Il. and larger than Mt. Vernon, Il.. The area is beautiful in a desolate sort of way. The people are really nice and about like southern Illinois used to be like. There is a lot of work in the area as they have Oil, Natural Gas and coal deposits all in the area. The schools are better than the schools in Illinois. and there is a Community College in Gillette and in Sheridan.
