Is it a parole violation in VA to work in a bar and sell alcohol?

Would it make a difference on what type of felony the person was charged for. This person wrote prescriptions for drugs for her boyfriend. Also, the employer knows she was a convicted felon and still allows her to work there. She currently is up for parole violation for forgery and writing bad checks. The employer is aware of that also and still allows her to handle customer credit cards, debt cards etc. Also would the ABC regulations allow this? All responses appreciated
