Bought a Super Sports 3X wheel for my Playstation 3 racing games and not working?

The problem is pretty much in the headline. I just get the response "An Uknown USB Device Has Been Connected" on the screen when it's attached and it's meant for XBox360 and PS3 it says on the box so if anyone can tell me what I'm missing out on muchas gracias dude.
